Women in Architecture
AIA Diversity and Inclusion celebrates the multitude of perspectives and experiences within the profession, empowers members to become active and engaged in their communities, and offers tools and resources needed to remain competitive and relevant within a changing global marketplace.
WIA-O develops and promotes female leaders within the architecture profession, with a focus on mentorship, licensure, and networking opportunities in architecture and the allied design and building industries.
The committee achieves its mission through planned networking, social, educational events as well as project tours, exhibitions, and other related activities.

Is there a female in your office who recently became licensed or who is supporting our community, or something else amazing? Well, let WIA shine a spotlight on her. We’re looking to recognize local female professionals in the architectural, engineering and/or construction fields that have recently accomplished a personal or firm goal, that have positively impacted our community, or that have advanced our profession. Professionals at all stages of their careers are eligible (in school, on path to licensure, and/or working professional).
