AIA Florida members meet at the Capitol once a year for the Legislative Days and experience first hand how laws are made in the State of Florida. They also discuss with our legislators the important issues affecting the practice of architecture!­

5:00PM - 6:30PM  Student Reception at AIA Florida Headquarters

January 27, 2026

 

8:30AM -  10AM  Legislative Day Briefing at Challenger Learning Center located at 200 S. Duval. This is a NEW location from previous years. It is also on top of the Kleman Plaza Parking Garage across from our previous meeting location.

10:30AM - 5PM  Legislative Day Visits and War Room located in 231 Senate Office Building open. The AIA Florida headquarters will be open with snacks during this time.

4:30PM - 6:30PM  Legislative Day Reception at AIA Florida Headquarters located at 104 E Jefferson St.

6:30PM - 6:45PM  Bus Leaves Tallahassee

11:00PM - 11:30PM  Bus Arrives back in Orlando
