In addition, the Board Members of OFA is seeking volunteers for Committees which currently include, but not limited to, Scholarship, Public Outreach, Tours, Education and Fundraising. Serving on the OFA Board and committees is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate for buildings, places, and education to fulfill leadership roles as champions OFA. In particular, we expect that different candidates will bring a range of skills and experiences to the Board. OFA would be interested in members with legal, finance and accounting, senior level management, arts organization management, public agency management, education, or non-profit organization development backgrounds to help advance the mission of OFA.
It is expected that Board Members will attend mandatory quarterly Board meetings participate in fundraising efforts, and make an annual financial commitment to OFA. It is also desirable that Board members participate as a member of one of the OFA committees.
Board members and committee members are expected to responsibly represent OFA to their respective communities and to advocate for OFA’s mission, programs, and services as appropriate.
