About the Architects

DLR Group is an integrated design firm with offices around the globe and boasting 1,000+ design professionals. The firm’s core areas of design expertise include Justice+Civic, Energy Services, Healthcare, Higher Education, Hospitality, Housing, K-12 Education, Culture+Performing Arts, Retail/Mixed-Use, Sports, and Workplace. As whole, the firm passionately advocates sustainable design and was an early adopter of the Architecture 2030 Challenge. The Orlando office’s practice specializes in the Justice/Civic and Higher Education design studios.

Chris Getz, AIA, has focused his 12-year career in Justice+Civic, creating beautiful and functional public facilities serving Florida and communities across the nation. He is a versatile project manager who combines pragmatic components with innovative design ideas to create unique solutions.

Ashley Gottshalk, AIA, has been with DLR Group for 9 years, working in multiple sectors and specializing in Justice+Civic projects. She enjoys getting involved with the community, volunteering in local building projects and serving in our local AIA component’s Awards Committee.

Nicole Nichols, AIA, has been with the firm for 6 years and serves as the company’s Southeast Region Higher Education Leader, focusing her career on educational and institutional projects with a passion for consensus building and engaging stakeholders.

Lindsey Perez, AIA, recently celebrated 13 years working with DLR Group in the K-12 and Higher Education sectors, as well as filling the role of Southeast Region Sustainability Leader, often lending her expertise to projects beyond her core area of design focus.

This event will take place in concurrence with DLR Group - Orlando’s 20th Anniversary Open House. Lecture attendees are encouraged to join us after the lecture for the Open House and an office tour. Doors open at 5:00 PM and the lecture will begin promptly at 5:30 PM.
