Participate in the Transformation

Following the adoption of an ambitious Ten Year Strategic Plan in March 2010, AIA Orlando has entered the implementation phase of our Legacy2020 initiative. On May 16, 2009, AIA Members participating in the Architectural Kickoff Workshop for Legacy2020 signed a banner symbolizing a commitment to be “Owner’s” of the Legacy2020 initiative. All AIA Orlando members are invited to come together with this group to continue efforts to shape the future of architecture in Central Florida. The purpose for this workshop is to review components of the plan, review progress to date and discuss new opportunities to participate in the implementation of this plan.Opportunities are available for passionate volunteers in many areas including:healthcare, K-12 outreach, professional development, and technology/simulation.
