Orange County Homeowner Energy Tax Credit

ORANGE COUNTY HOMEOWNER ENERGY TAX CREDIT

As Architects residing in Orange County, are you planning any energy efficiency upgrades to your own home in the next year? Let us know if You, or even any of your Neighbors or Friends, would be interested in learning about the Orange County Rebate Program. We are looking for at least 10 people to meet the minimum class size so we can organize a location and time.

OCHEEP, Orange County Homeowner Energy Efficiency Program, is an educational program that informs members about new technologies and cost saving measures that turn homes into energy efficient buildings. www.ocfl.net/ocheep  This is not your typical rebate program. OCHEEP! wants to show homeowners:

  • How to save money on their energy bills
  • Which energy efficiency upgrades might work for their home
  • How to experience the most energy savings for the money spent
  • That using less energy in the home saves tax dollars and combats
    climate change

Rebate requires an independent energy auditor to perform a Class I energy rating on your home (up to $300 rebate is available). Use the findings of the energy rating to decide what upgrades your home needs. (up to $700 rebate money is offered based on the finished rating after renovation. Funds reimbursed after renovations are completed.)

Please be aware that if fewer than ten Orange County homeowners are interested, we will not be able to organize the presentation.
