The Lake County’s Planning and Community Design Division in the Growth Management Department will be holding an informational presentation followed by a question and answer period about the County’s newly adopted Landscape Ordinance. This presentation will be tailored to the landscape/site design and contractor community such as Landscape Architects, Architects, Civil Engineers, Project Managers/Homebuilders, Landscape Contractors/Nursery Owner’s and others interested to know more about the ordinance.
The ordinance implements Florida Friendly Landscaping techniques, water conservation in the landscape, and incentivizes the preservation of existing trees.
