AIA Orlando 2010 Design for Award Excellence Winners

After the Service Awards were applauded on Saturday night, March 13th, the Gala continued with the announcements of the Awards for Design Excellence winners. From a field of 58 entries, the jury selected eight excellence awards, nine awards of merit in the built, unbuilt and sustainable design categories.

Jury Comments: “This project was presented in a very clear and straightforward manner, consistent with the design references it was trying to portray. The imagery of a fighter plane cockpit is elegantly sculptured for the religious purpose of a chapel, a unanimous selection of the jury.”
