New AIA Members Attend Convention for Free!

All first-time architect, associate, and international associate members who join and lapsed members (5 years or more) who rejoin the AIA between May 3, 2009, and June 12, 2010, are invited to attend the 2010 national convention free of charge. This is a valuable opportunity to spend time with your colleagues and peers and experience the full benefit of your membership at the leading design and construction industry event.

Offer is not transferable and is a one-time offer. Membership dues must be paid in full to receive complementary registration. Lapsed (4 years or less), national allied, and local allied or affiliate members and members whose status has changed from Assoc. AIA to AIA are not eligible for this offer.

AIA Florida and AIA Puerto Rico Members

Your convention registration has been prepaid through your membership dues assessment. Registration is this category includes most keynote presentations, most continuing education programs, expo education programs, business meetings, AIA Expo2010, and AIA Virtual Convention. Preconvention workshops, tours, and events are priced separately.

New AIA Florida and AIA Puerto Rico members who join the AIA between May 3, 2009, and June 12, 2010, should register as New AIA Member.

AIA Virtual Convention

Virtual convention seminars offer a convenient and exciting way to earn learning units (LUs) for the subscription rate of $160 for AIA members and $275 for nonmembers. Return as often as you like to view educational programs until year-end and maximize your investment in your education. And if you register for the AIA Convention in Miami, you get the AIA Virtual Convention for free!

The tradeshow of products and services in the virtual expo is absolutely free. Register online and participate fully during the three day event, June 10–12, and explore the exhibit halls, view new products, ask questions to representatives of showcase technologies and services, or linger in the lounge and meet new colleagues. Come back again, post event, and browse the booths at your convenience; there is sure to be a lot to see!

AIAS Members and Students

The AIA is offering a discount for AIAS members and students to attend the AIA 2010 National Convention. Note: All students (with valid student identification) enrolled in a current architecture program are eligible. Registration includes keynote presentations, most continuing education programs, expo education programs, virtual convention, business meetings, and AIA Expo2010. Preconvention workshops, tours, and events are priced separately. Join thousands of architects and design professionals at this premier event, courtesy of the AIA. Register before March 29, for the lowest possible rate and get the most out of your AIA convention experience.

Events and Expo

Those who wish to only attend networking/business events register for $40 on or before March 29 or $55 on or before April 26. After April 29, the on-site registration fee of $75 will apply. Registration in this category includes keynote presentations, AIA Expo2010, Virtual Expo, and for an additional charge, networking/business events. Those who wish to attend continuing education programs and tours must register as an AIA member, nonmember, student, or guest.
