Daytona Museum of Arts and Sciences is soliciting interest from Florida architecture firms with Museum/Gallery experience for a new 20,000 sq ft addition to the museum.
The construction project delivery methodology will be either Design/Build or Construction Management. A short list of 3 firms will be selected to present design solutions/order of magnitude costs and will be offered an honorarium for their efforts. Firms will choose and present a construction firm to partner with at this stage.
Firms should present an 8 ½’’X 11’’ bound document containing the following:
- Museum/Gallery projects. A description of these projects including photo images, square footage and construction budget/sum. Museum/Gallery project experience is not a prerequisite to be considered for short listing on this project.
- 3 recently completed or under construction non museum/gallery projects including photo images, square footage and construction budget/sum.
- Biography of key staff.
5 copies of the bound document should be presented before 5pm on February 8th 2010 to:
