The Osceola County Joint Communications and Emergency Operations Center is officially open for business. This $18 million project consists of three structures and surrounding site development at the County’s existing Partin Settlement Road Government Center. Facilities include a 2-story, 45,000 square foot Joint Communications and Emergency Operations facility, a 3,400 square foot single story Sheriff’s Command Vehicle and Equipment Storage structure, and a three level 300 car parking garage.
According to Emergency Management Director, David Casto, “Osceola County Commissioners had the foresight build a new Emergency Operations Center with enough room to grow over the next 20 years. The design of the facility is exactly what we needed and Architects Design Group, Inc. did a great job for us.”
The project provides a direct tie to the existing Osceola County Sheriff’s Administration Facility, enhancing overall delivery of Public Safety Services and is part of the overall Master Plan which Architects Design Group, Inc. developed for the Osceola County Government Center.
