Architecture with a Florida twist! Join us for a three-day immersion experience exploring the architectural styles of Florida buildings from the past to the present. Discover the importance of early forts, family dwellings, public structures, and more. Learn about unique aspects of Central Florida’s architecture through field trips and expert-led discussions.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Insulating Concrete Forms-ICFs-the hottest engineered wall system in the construction market. While ICFs have been around for over 40 years, only recently has the public placed a value on the benefits offered by ICFs: energy efficiency, durability, resistance to natural disasters, noise pollution and mold-just to name a few. The result is a booming market demand. Join us to learn about the remarkable growth of ICF markets- residential and commercial. We'll cover the basics of ICF systems and construction, review the benefits and contributions to LEED, and look at some case studies of ICF construction.
