SunRail Update

SunRailThe legislation sealing the deal for Central Florida's $1.2billion commuter-rail project passed its first crucial test Wednesday in the state Senate, the chamber where it ran out of steam last year. AIA Orlando Board of Directors voted to support SunRail at last month’s board meeting.

SMPS March Mentoring Madness (Tuesday, March 17th)

Continuing Education Seminar, (March 24th) Free Event!

Underfloor Air for Architects, Developers & Owners Seminar

You have been invited to attend a complimentary seminar on underfloor air distribution (UFAD) on March 24 (1:00-4:30pm) at the UCF Executive Development Center.  The seminar will cover how the system works, design considerations, construction recommendations and owner operations.  The presenter is James E Megerson, PE Vice President of Larson Binkley, Inc. a national consulting engineering firm with over 10 million sq. ft. of UFAD projects including two which achieved a Gold LEED certification.  Mr. Megerson has also been appointed Co-Chair of the ASHRAE Underfloor Air Distribution Technical Resource Committee that has been charged with updating the UFAD Design Guide.

This presentation is tailored towards Architects, Owners and Developers.  Attendees should walk away with proven solutions from real world examples that they can implement on future projects.  All attendees will receive a packet of design tools as well as 2 AIA HSW continuing education credits.  Please refer to the attached brochure for additional information or call Broc Higgins of Tate Access Floors at 904-316-7924 should you have any questions at 904-316-7924.
