We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Architect with our Architecture team in our Orlando, FL office.

Reporting to the project Principal / Project Manager, the Project Architect is responsible for leading or assisting with documentation, design and coordination as defined by project goals. The successful candidate has the ability to provide the technical aspects of government/military design.


Qualifications:
 A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Architect.

 Experience with Department of Defense projects is preferred.

 Experience with complicated, large-scale, and/or significant buildings is a plus.

 Experience with building envelopes and sustainable design preferred.

 Experience with 3D modeling, Photoshop and illustration is a plus.

 Professional experience with Revit is required.

 USGBC LEED Professional Accreditation is preferred.

 Must be capable of understanding RFP requirements and leading a team to incorporate said requirements into a successful design.

 Architectural Licensure is strongly preferred.

 Offers and supports creative technical design and detailing decisions that are in line with project goals and understands their impact on cost, construction, sustainability and other factors

 Understands and leads the integration of code, zoning, market specific best practices and other issues into the project

 Excels in the art, understanding and approach to documenting how the project is to be bid and constructed

 Understands relationship between design goals and technical requirements and executes accordingly

 Oversees and coordinates all project coordination (consultants, code, specifications, etc.)

 Understands and researches current trends in construction, building systems, etc.

 Makes recommendations to PM regarding staff assignments and general project strategy

 Provides proposal support, including marketing and presentation development
