Become an AIA Member

For more than 150 years, members of the American Institute of Architects have worked together with their communities to create valuable, healthy, secure, and sustainable buildings and cityscapes.

Benefits of membership with the AIA include far more than being able to use “AIA” after your name. The American Institute of Architects exists to create opportunities for professional development and fellowship, as well as raise awareness of the architecture profession in the community.

AIA Issues & Advocacy

The AIA advocates for fair laws and regulations regarding the built environment, promotes design and construction industry leadership, and communicates the vital role architects play in creating livable communities.
