Guest Speaker:
Michael Lingerfelt, AIA is the Vice President of Architecture & Design for McGillivray Consulting Group. Michael is a registered architect, holds a NCARB certificate and is a LEED® AP. Michael has been practicing architecture for 28 years, spending 5 years with Marriott International and 15 years as the Director of Project Architecture & Engineering for Walt Disney Imagineering. During that time he was the Architect of Record for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest and was the responsible individual for design and engineering for Mission: SPACE, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster as well as numerous attractions in the Magic Kingdom.
Michael received a Master’s Certificate in Virtual Design and Construction from Stanford University’s Center for Integrated Engineering and employed those lessons in leading the design and construction of Disney’s Expedition Everest which was considered by many as the “most integrated show ever developed by WDI.”
